The MS Self-Help Program is a unique program established to creatively meet the identified need among people with MS to take responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of their own well-being.
The Multiple Sclerosis Society has, in the last four years, developed an extensive network of rural self-help groups through its Self-Help Program. These groups, developed to meet the informational and emotional support needs of persons with MS and their families, have proven to be remarkably successful and form the largest network of health related groups in the province.
